Counterfeit тАЬPrithvi BladesтАЭ Busted in Meerut; Major Seizure by Police and IPINDS Team
In a significant enforcement action targeting the circulation of counterfeit goods, SANATAN MERCHANTS PVT LTD, the registered proprietor of the тАЬPrithvi BladesтАЭ brand, in coordination with the IPINDS Team, facilitated a police raid on a retailer dealing in fake branded blades.
The operation was led by Senior Police Inspector Awadh Kishore Singh of Ram Krishna Nagar Police Station, following the registration of FIR No. 5117093250172/2025. The raid was carried out at Mandi Gate, Transport Nagar, a known commercial area in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and resulted in the seizure of spurious blades falsely labeled with the Prithvi branding.
The accused, Mr. Satish Kumar Tawari, was caught in possession of a substantial quantity of counterfeit products intended for market distribution. The goods were designed to mislead consumers and infringe on intellectual property rights.
