In a decisive strike against the distribution of counterfeit electrical goods, the Nizamabad Town-I Police, under the leadership of Senior Police Inspector Mr. Bodakuntla Raghupathi, executed a high-profile raid targeting the illegal sale of fake Goldmedal branded products. The operation was launched following FIR No. 0110/2025, and was conducted in close coordination with the IPINDS Team, acting on behalf of Goldmedal Electricals Pvt. Ltd.

The raid focused on Rajeshawar & Sanitary Electrical, a business located on Devi Road, Nizamabad Town. During the operation, authorities identified Jhutaram Chodhary as the main accused in the stocking and distribution of unauthorized electrical products falsely branded as Goldmedal.

The seized items—believed to be substandard and potentially dangerous—were being fraudulently sold as high-quality, trusted electrical products, posing a serious threat to consumer safety and brand integrity.

Legal action has been initiated under the Copyright Act, 1957 (Section 63) and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act, 2023 (Sections 349 and 318(4)), reflecting the authorities’ stern approach toward intellectual property violations and public safety threats.

This successful bust sends a clear and strong message to counterfeiters, reinforcing the unwavering commitment of law enforcement to protect the market from fraudulent practices and uphold the reputation of genuine brands.
